RKY Subscriptions Tracker ("we", "us", or "the App") is a privacy-first personal finance and subscription management utility developed by Rajesh Kumar Yadav. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have complete control over your financial records. The App operates 100% locally on your device with zero account requirements, zero tracking, and zero bank credential linking.
Data Collection & Handling
- No Account or Registration Required: You do not need to register, sign in, or provide any personal details (such as your name, email, or phone number) to use the App.
- 100% Local Storage: All subscription names, billing amounts, renewal dates, payment cycles, notes, and custom categories are saved directly to your device storage (via secure on-device storage). We never transmit, inspect, or store your subscription data on developer servers.
- No Bank or Financial Account Linking: The App does not integrate with open banking APIs, credit card aggregators, or financial institutions. You never enter banking passwords, credit card numbers, or authentication credentials.
- Private Cloud Synchronization: If enabled, your subscriptions sync automatically across your personal devices via Apple iCloud (on iOS) or Google Auto Backup (on Android). This synchronization occurs directly through your own personal Apple or Google cloud accounts. We do not host, store, or have access to your synced cloud databases.
- Support Inquiries: If you contact us via email or our website contact form for technical assistance, we use your contact details solely to respond to your inquiry. We never sell, share, or use your contact details for advertising.
Device Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions strictly to deliver core utility features:
- Notifications: Required to schedule local, on-device alerts that warn you ahead of upcoming subscription renewal dates and trial expirations.
- Storage / File System: Used only when you choose to export your subscription records as a CSV spreadsheet or restore a local backup file.
Third-Party Services & Analytics
The App contains no third-party telemetry frameworks, analytics trackers, or behavioral advertising SDKs. Distribution and installation are processed securely through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store under their respective privacy policies.
Data Security & Ownership
- Complete User Ownership: Because your data resides entirely on your device, you retain full ownership and control over your records.
- Data Export: You can export your complete subscription dataset anytime to standard CSV format directly from the Settings menu.
- Data Deletion: You can edit or delete individual subscription entries at any time. Erasing all data inside Settings or uninstalling the App immediately removes all locally stored records from your device.
