Yes. All carousel creation, template rendering, and saving work entirely offline. No internet connection is required for any feature.
What templates are available?
The app includes six templates: Minimal (clean white), Bold (dark background), Gradient (purple gradient), Quote (light purple), List (structured list), and Stats (dark with accent). Each template has its own character limit and visual style.
How many slides can I add?
You can create up to 20 slides per carousel. Each slide can use a different template, giving you creative flexibility.
What format are the exported images?
Each slide is exported as a PNG image at 1080×1080 pixels, the recommended square format for Instagram carousel posts.
Can I save slides to my photo library?
Yes. You can save all slides at once to your device's photo library. The app requests photo library access only when you choose to save.
Can I share directly to Instagram?
Yes. You can use the native share sheet to post slides directly to Instagram or any other social media platform installed on your device.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. RKY AI Carousel is designed privacy-first. All your carousel content and slides are stored locally on your device, and no account registration is required. We never see or store your data. If you choose to use the optional OpenAI integration (BYOK), your text prompts are sent directly from your device to OpenAI's API using your own API key.
